After school reading/writing Workshops

Beginning September 11th, 2023! Artsmatter is offering an after school workshop for grades 2 to 5 that will support and expand on students’ reading and writing skills. The workshop will focus on reading skills and practices that help students refine decoding and fluency abilities, these are critical skills for reading, comprehension and learning. Using an Orton Gillingham phonics-based approach students will be given the skills they need for reading success! The workshop also includes writing instruction and experience that will focus students on the planning, editing and publishing process of creating written work for specific purposes. This workshop will be a learning intensive that also includes fun that meets all students where they are and supports their growth, a signature element to Artsmatter workshops.

Workshop is from 4:30 to 6pm Mondays

Enrollment is month to month

Cost is $185 per month or sign up for 3 months for $525
