About the Founder

Michelle Michlik has 20 years of experience in NOVA/DC area as a teaching artist in the special education and mainstream communities.  Knowing that there were many more students beyond her classroom that would benefit from learning through the arts, Michelle decided to create ArtsMatter.  The belief of ArtsMatter is simple; the arts matter.
